Household Uses of Lemon

1.Get rid of grease – If you want to get rid of the grease, do the following: Cut a lemon in half and dip it into salt. Start rubbing the bottom of your pot and after a few minutes you will see the grease removed. You can also use a lemon juice mixed with a salt. Put the mixture in the pot and let it sit for a couple of minutes. After that wash it with water and sponge.
2.Prevent the sticky rice – You can use lemon to keep rice from sticking together. While the rice is boiling in the pot, add one tablespoon of lemon juice. The juice will prevent the rice to stick together, and not only that, the lemon juice will enhance the whiteness of the rice.
3.Polish your furniture – Mix the following ingredients: lemon juice, mayonnaise and olive oil. Use a soft sponge and start polishing your wooden furniture. After that wipe it with a wet towel. And the results will be surprising.
4.Clean your jewelry – For this purpose mix the following ingredients: lemon juice and water. Dip your silver jewelry into this mixture and let it sit for 24 hours. After that your jewelry will sparkle.
5.Remove food odors – To get rid of all the unpleasant odors you can make a natural spray and keep your home fresh. Cut one lemon. Squeeze the juice out of it, cut the peel in small pieces and put them into a spray bottle. Add a little water and let it sit for 24 hours. After that you can use it to spray all places in your home.
6.Clean the windows – Windows are sometimes hard to clean, but not if you use lemon juice as a window cleaner. Use 2 tablespoon of lemon juice, ½ cup of white vinegar and 1 quart of warm water. The results will be amazing.
